Preparation

Dissolve sugar and 2 cups water over high heat until dissolved. Cool.

Food-mill the berries, yielding about 1 cup of puree.

Add syrup, lemon, puree and remaining 2 cups of water together.

Pour into a baking pan, and freeze.

Serve by scraping with a spoon. Pour some sparkling water and serve.
